Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to our second newsletter! As a reminder, please save the dates of June 29th to July 3rd, 2025 for the 15th European Conference on Precision Agriculture (ECPA) in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. ECPA 2025 will be held under the auspices of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) and organized by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and the Unit of Agricultural Machinery (UMA) research group.

The abstract submission process for posters or full papers is now open on the ECPA 2025 website and closes on September 28th, 2024. You will be notified of abstract acceptance by mid-October (see Key Dates below).

We encourage you to check the conference website regularly for updates and to register for the ECPA 2025 mailing list at https://ecpa2025.upc.edu/ to stay informed.

ECPA is a fantastic opportunity for publication!

The academic quality of the proceedings will be ensured by the ECPA Program Committee and a rigorous peer-review process led by editor John Stafford, who coordinates an international scientific committee. The proceedings will be published by Brill | Wageningen Academic (formerly Wageningen Academic Press). After the conference, oral presenters will be invited to expand their manuscripts and submit them to a special issue of the Precision Agriculture Journal.

The higher the attendance, the more successful ECPA will be for everyone!

The ECPA conference is a premier forum in Europe and worldwide to explore specific Precision Agriculture topics, discover ongoing research by colleagues, and foster networking, synergies, and collaboration. We look forward to meeting you in Barcelona.
